India in a Worldly View

 I have met a few foreigners

Many NRI's too,

Most of them tell me,

With sadness in their eyes

I would like to see India

In this life or my next


A vibrant nation it is to them,

Elephants, horses jungles and monkeys,

It's not just a fusion of culture, ideas and technology

It's way more than that

You just gotta get inside its shoes and see,

A beautiful view - a definitive outcome,

People around in a hurry,

It's an tide of people moving about to change the world

There's not a moment to be wasted

It's a wave washing over,

Move away

Else you will be captured in its crest

It's a boiling cup of a thought process you see

It's a religion of ideas to me

I look around in ecstasy,

What else can I find but,

India around me!!

Malala - She Can't Be Stopped Now

 Malala Yousafzai places vital importance on the meaning of her name - "grief-stricken". Undying in her quest to cross the limitations placed by her name, her gender and her religion she tells a story - a story that was applauded by many. In the book I Am Malala she first tries to convince us about SWAT Valley, Pakistan. Her home covered by terrorists and rifles to the rest of the world is an everlasting beauty for her- embroidered by mountains and forests inadvertently making it the centre of her life.
