Dawn after Dusk -- A New Plan for RCB
RCB have been playing catch-up for the past few seasons but with a few key players released from RCB and other teams this is a big opportunity for RCB to buck up.
I wouldn't say that Udana and Shivam Dube were good releases since Udana's variations are really helpful and Dube can become better after a few years. It feels like RCB is just trying to get a clear-cut team which is pushing them towards the wrong track. They need to train players and with these players released they will now need to go all out on Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Jimmy Neesham. We need a good bowler but I think RCB will mostly just take Morris and Udana back since all the best bowlers are taken.
We can also take Mathew Wade after his show in the India tour of Australia recently. Carey is a good option and can come in at No.4. Also Daniel Sams, being a left-arm bowler will be a good addition to the team.
Awaiting for the auction on Feb 18th I will be both excited and nervous hoping for a better and stronger team. Hopefully RCB doesn't spend their whole purse on 1 player :).
