A dream come true

                          A dream come true

The matches lost by RCB are innumerable. Yet the die hard fans of Bengaluru with renewed invigoration every passing year never forget to cheer for the star-studded team without a trophy. Are these fans you might ask ? Or just a crazy mob with no purpose ?

Fans would be the perfect word here. But fans are not those from Mumbai or Chennai. In the last few years MI and CSK have won every alternate IPL. These fans have only experienced the joy after a victory, not the bone-crunching sadness faced by RCB fans every year.

                                                        Closer

Closer now to the cup, just 3 more victories

Tears trickled down my cheek, the bitter taste being ignored as they seeped into my mouth. Too happy to notice this; I smiled.

Finally! We were in the playoffs after 3 years. The wait had ended.

Slowly, I pushed myself into the real world. The endless losses, lowest score records were smoke now. The blunders in auctions, now rectified; or are they? Will the cup finally come to RCB ? Or will the selling of KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal and Quinton de Kock haunt us as we race towards the cup. Will questions unanswered for so many years, be of fault again or will the dream team finally show its colours after a 13 year wait. Countless fans wait today; as the eliminator comes closer, just hours away.

Sadness and loss. This was the only thing in reach for the last 3 years.

Can we make a big change in the playoffs? Will we send Kohli opening with Padikkal and Finch at No.3. Or will hatred of change prevail against this bold decision.

How will we, the RCB fans feel after the RCB wins IPL. Will shock overcome us, or happiness engulf us? Hoping that this question is answered on 10th of November, my dream builds on.
